Stage 17 Emdrun to L'Alp d'Huez
Wednesday July 23
This is the last real chance for the climbers to take the lead in the overall placing before leaving the Alps, with the climb of the Galibier, the Croix de Fer and the final climb up the Alpe d’Huez. The race leaders will use the last cards in their hand to aim for the final victory.
Monday July 21
Arrive Geneva for transfer to Alpe d' Huez and our base for the three days, 5km below the finish at the ski station. Our hotel is a beautifully restored farm house with a terrace and bar looking down on the road and provides a perfect viewing point to watch the race.
Tuesday July 22
Transfer to the Col du Lauteret to ride the final 140km of stage 17 via the Col de Galibier, Col du Télégraphe and Col de la Croix de Fer finishing in Alpe d' Huez fully supported like the pros with domestics and team car.
Wednesday July 23
After after a well earned lie in take brunch on the terrace then settle in with a few beers to watch the race.
Thursday July 24
Transfer back to Geneva
