Etape Recon Weekend

Preview the route of the 2010 l’Etape du Tour du Mondevelo with our partners Cyclefit and qualify to purchase a VIP entry to the event.

This two-today trip provides you the opportunity to ride and recon the route for the 2010 etape with our experienced guides and dedicated vehicle support from the GPM10 team car. Our base for both nights will be the excellent Le Relais des Pyrenees, a three star hotel forming part of the Laurent Fignon centre.

The ride schedule for the first day will cover the route from Pau and the climbs of the Marie Blanque and Souler. Day two will be focused on the climb to the Col du Tourmalet. Julian Wall and Phil Cavell from Cyclefit, who both suffered the 2008 Etape featuring the Tourmalet, will hold an after dinner seminar on the second night covering preparation for the event including nutrition, hydration and the correct bike set-up.

Each trip is limited to 12 clients to insure the highest level of support is provided with the option to purchase a VIP entry for the event guaranteeing a start in the first 1200.
